ATLANTA (June 12, 2019) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the firm served as legal counsel to Lonicera Partners, one of Downtown Brooklyn’s leading real estate development companies, in the acquisition of a five-parcel assemblage from three different sellers.

The property, to be known as 308 Livingston Street, is in the pre-construction phase and site work is expected to commence imminently. The project qualifies for the 35-year Affordable New York tax abatement. Lonicera Partners’ portfolio includes 415 Red Hook Lane, 153 Remsen Street, 70 Schermerhorn along with 7 other properties in the Downtown Brooklyn area.

“This deal had it all: multiple sellers, multiple parcels, occupied units, and last-minute curve balls, but we got it done,” said Todd Pickard, SGR partner. “It was very satisfying and a true team effort.”

The SGR legal team was led by Todd Pickard and Dexterrie Ramirez in the New York Real Estate Practice.
