Smith, Gambrell & Russell Represents Latitude 27 Capital in Acquisition of JK Jewelry

ATLANTA (October 15, 2020) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that the firm served as legal counsel to Latitude 27 Capital, LLC (Latitude 27) and JK Acquisition, LLC, a newly formed limited liability sponsored and organized by Latitude 27, in the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of JK Jewelry, Inc., global designer, manufacturer and wholesaler of jewelry components. The transaction closed on February 20, 2020, and the business will continue to be operated as JK Findings.

Generally, Latitude 27, a long-term equity investor and strategic partner, looks for companies with EBITDA in the range of $2 million to $5 million and considers management buyouts, ownership transitions and targeted growth financing. As a private investment firm that supports small and middle market companies, Latitude 27 plans future growth with JK Findings through product and market expansion.

The SGR Atlanta legal team included partners John Spillman in the Corporate Practice, Brian Hall in the Finance, Banking & Restructuring Practice, and Joe Mandarino in the Tax Practice.
