ATLANTA (November 14, 2019) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the firm served as legal counsel to GigaMonster, one of the nation’s leading fiber-based internet providers in the multifamily industry, in a substantial capital raise for its parent company through Barings, one of the world’s leading financial services firms.

GigaMonster’s parent company, GigaSphere Holdings LLC, will utilize the new capital invested by Barings to expand its Universal Access Network (UAN) offering in multifamily and commercial properties, including mixed-use smart districts owned and controlled by its strategic partners. As technologies like 5G, SDN, small cells, CBRS, and private LTE are increasingly adopted, GigaMonster and Barings recognize the need for wireless, carrier-neutral network solutions within the properties it services.
