Smith, Gambrell & Russell Represents Internet Provider GigaMonster in Acquisition of Amtech Communications

ATLANTA (November 16, 2018) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the firm served as legal counsel to GigaMonster, LLC, one of the nation’s leading fiber-based network providers to the multifamily and mixed-use real estate industries, in its acquisition of Amtech Communications (Amtech), a leading multifamily video and network solutions provider.

Since its formation in 2015, Georgia-based GigaMonster has rapidly grown its footprint, reaching more than 30 markets nationwide in the multifamily internet provider industry. The acquisition of Amtech, which serves customers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, allows GigaMonster to aggressively expand into these regions while significantly enhancing its core platform of services. This acquisition also continues GigaMonster’s strategy coming on the heels of its merger with Fibersphere Communications and $45 million investment with Post Road Group in June 2018, which expanded its West Coast presence and supported organic company growth, respectively. SGR also represented GigaMonster in those transactions.
