Smith, Gambrell & Russell Represents Big V Property Group in 3 Shopping Center Acquisitions

ATLANTA (December 13, 2018) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the firm served as legal counsel to Big V Property Group in three of its recent shopping center acquisitions. The New York-based investment management company acquired Farm Pond in Charlotte, North Carolina, First Tuesday Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and Poplin Place in Monroe, North Carolina.

Farm Pond is a 52,500-square-foot community shopping center located on one of Charlotte’s main thoroughfares. Located in the Atlanta suburb of Carrollton, First Tuesday Center is a 158,795-square-foot community shopping center. Poplin Place, located in Monroe near Charlotte, is a 227,669-square-foot shopping center that serves as the dominant power center in the region. All three centers are well-leased with anchor tenants such as TJ Maxx, Big Lots, PetSmart, Target, Boot Barn, and Gander Outdoors and national tenants, including Dollar Tree and Food Depot, as well as smaller local tenants.

The SGR legal team was led by New York Real Estate Practice Section Head and Partner Sean Altschul along with New York Real Estate Practice Associate Dexterrie Ramirez.
