Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP Welcomes Senior Associate Victoria White to the London Office

LONDON, UK (September 9, 2026) — Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (“SGR”) is pleased to announce the arrival of Senior Associate Victoria White to the Firm’s London office.

Victoria White joins the Firm’s Global Transport practice, focusing primarily on aviation finance and cross-border leasing transactions. She advises airlines, operating lessors, financial institutions and export credit agencies on a range of multi-jurisdictional matters, including aircraft trading transactions, lease agreements, structured financings, sale and leasebacks, restructurings and portfolio transfers. Prior to joining SGR, Victoria was a member of the London asset finance team of an international law firm and spent time on secondment in the firm’s New York office. She also completed a six-month secondment to the export credit team of an international bank.

Since the establishment of its London and Southampton offices in 2017, the UK practice has steadily expanded. This growth is part of SGR’s broader Global Transport Practice, which now includes over 40 lawyers across its offices in key locations such as Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Miami, and New York, positioning the firm to serve clients with comprehensive expertise across multiple jurisdictions. Victoria’s arrival continues the strategic expansion of the Firm’s global transport capabilities in the U.K., which has further developed with the recent additions of disputes partners Simon Kilgour, Patrick Swain, and Gordon McAllister. In addition, Global Transport partner Simone Riley recently joined the Firm’s New York office from Vedder Price P.C., where she was a shareholder in the Global Transportation Finance Group.
