Smith, Gambrell & Russell Welcomes Partner Gavin White to Miami Litigation Practice

ATLANTA (March 3, 2020) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the addition of Partner Gavin White to the firm’s Miami office. Mr. White joins SGR’s Litigation Practice from the Miami office of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP.

SGR Chairman and Managing Partner Stephen Forte commented, “We are very pleased to welcome Gavin into the SGR fold. His addition provides a high level litigation capability to the Miami office that syncs well with the needs of our clients in the South Florida market.”

As a partner in SGR’s Miami Litigation Practice, Gavin White focuses on commercial litigation, handling a wide range of business disputes. He has particular experience with matters involving fraud, including undue influence claims, representing insurance companies facing fraudulently submitted claims, and leading investigations for banks and financial institutions faced with borrower fraud. Mr. White also has significant experience with professional malpractice defense, with an emphasis on representing accountants and attorneys. In addition, he helps clients protect their intellectual property portfolios from infringement.

Mr. White is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law where he remains active. He is president of the Fordham Law Alumni Association’s (FLAA’s) Miami Chapter, president of a council of regional FLAA chapter presidents and sits on the Board of Directors of the FLAA. Mr. White also mentors current Fordham Law students with ties to South Florida and recent graduates who relocate to the area.
