Smith, Gambrell & Russell Represents Domain Timber Advisors in Sale of 41,000-Acre Timberland Investment Portfolio in South

ATLANTA (January 8, 2019) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that the firm served as legal counsel to Domain Timber Advisors in the sale of a more than 41,000-acre timberland investment portfolio to Green Diamond Management Company in partnership with Silver Creek Capital Management. The timberland portfolio is located within the southern United States in Alabama, Georgia and Florida.

The portfolio disposition is a part of Domain Timber’s timberland investment strategy. As a result of the acquisition, Green Diamond’s managed timber assets total more than 400,000 acres in the region.

SGR Atlanta Real Estate Practice Partner Sharon Duvall advised Domain Timber Advisors in the transaction.
