Smith Gambrell & Russell Partner Sarah Gottlieb Sworn in as President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

TAMPA – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP is pleased to announce that Sarah Gottlieb, a Partner in the Litigation and Intellectual Property Practices in the Tampa office, has been sworn in as the President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, effective January 1, 2026. Ms. Gottlieb was sworn in at a ceremony on December 4, 2025 at the University Club in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Gottlieb will lead the organization’s more than 400 members for a one-year term.

Stearns, Tampa Office Managing Partner. “Sarah is a phenomenal lawyer and her longtime commitment to the Federal Bar Association is commendable. We look forward to her continued success as she begins her term as President.”

Ms. Gottlieb has served in several roles within the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association since joining the organization in 2014. In addition to serving on the executive committee for the past several years, she has served on the Chapter’s Mentoring Program, Young Lawyers Division, and Staying in the Game Committee.

Ms. Gottlieb’s practice includes representing clients in connection with a variety of business and intellectual property disputes. Her experience includes pre-suit negotiations and litigation involving contract, trade secret, copyright, trademark infringement, and business torts. Ms. Gottlieb has litigated cases in federal courts throughout the United States.
