Jacksonville, FL (October 5, 2026) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (“SGR”) is pleased to announce the arrival of Associate Madelyn Brenner to the firm’s Jacksonville office.

Madelyn Brenner joins the Litigation Practice, where she will concentrate her practice on complex commercial litigation, handling contract, business, and insurance disputes, real property litigation, trust and estate matters, and appellate cases.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk in Charleston, South Carolina, for Magistrate Judge Molly H. Cherry of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. In her clerkship, Madelyn researched complex legal issues, drafted reports and recommendations and orders in various civil matters, and assisted with hearings on motions, along with multiple trials conducted by consent. She also externed for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida during her time in law school.
