NEW YORK (July 28, 2026) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (“SGR”) is pleased to announce that the Firm served as legal counsel to Knitting Factory Entertainment, Inc. on its strategic investment in DOES Entertainment, LLC.

Knitting Factory Entertainment, Inc. is one of North America's leading independent entertainment companies, operating across live music, recorded music, festivals, hospitality, artist development, and strategic media investments. Does Entertainment is an independent live entertainment company focused on venue ownership, concert promotion, and hospitality. The company operates unique destination venues including Ophelia's Electric Soapbox in Denver and is currently restoring Cleveland's historic Odeon as part of its continued expansion strategy.

As a result of this transaction, KFE will own a material portion of the equity interests of DOES, will hold a seat on DOES’s board, and will provide talent booking and merchandising services to the venues owned and managed by DOES.
