Happy New Year from the SGR Intellectual Property Dept.

Legal Alert

As we enter into 2019, the SGR Intellectual Property (IP) Dept. continues to serve a diverse array of clients of all sizes and types, from small start-ups to large multinational companies, both public and private, as well as universities. We are proud of the impressive list of clients with which we work, and we take great pleasure in playing a role in their success.

We continue to publish our weekly IP newsletter, the “SGR Intellectual Property Brain Trust,” with timely articles chosen from across the world of IP, as well as original content from our IP professionals. In the past, for our SGR-generated content, we primarily included news items regarding our IP attorneys – awards, presentations, publications, activities, etc. However, beginning in 2018 we began also including articles prepared by our IP attorneys, on relevant and timely IP topics which we feel would be of interest to our readership. We hope you, our readers, have found the content of our newsletters useful, with thought leadership coming from many of our 30 IP attorneys across the full spectrum of IP disciplines.

We plan to continue this format into 2019, and we’ll also continue to provide updates on the activities of our IP attorneys, as we continue to remain involved in IP activities outside our firm.

We welcome feedback on our IP newsletter from each of you – positive feedback, areas where we can improve on scope and format, or any other input you care to share with us. We’d like to make this a two-way conversation and are happy to entertain any new ideas you may have.

We wish you all a happy and healthy 2019, and we look forward to continuing the IP conversation!
