About Katie
Katie L. Schwartz has commercial and business litigation experience, and has represented clients in state and federal courts. She has additionally defended and prosecuted actions involving contract disputes, partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts (including fraud, tortious interference, and unfair competition), cooperative law, and rights of shareholders and members of LLCs.
Prior to joining the Firm, Katie worked as an Associate at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara, Wolf & Carone, LLP in New York, where she conducted legal research on substantive and procedural law and regulations, analyzed client issues, and composed legal arguments in support of claims and defenses. During her time at Abrams Fensterman, she additionally worked on copyright and election law cases and Article 75 and Article 78 proceedings. Katie previously worked as a Judicial Intern for Hon. Cheryl Pollak, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, and a Litigation Paralegal at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
