About Lucie

Lucie Dierikx brings a unique blend of real estate, title insurance, and transactional experience to her practice, having managed complex property matters across the country. Her background provides clients with practical insight into the legal, business, and risk management considerations that arise in commercial real estate transactions, title issues, and dispute resolution.

Before joining Smith, Gambrell & Russell, Lucie served as Claims Counsel, AVP at Fidelity National Financial, where she managed complex real estate matters involving acquisitions, secured transactions, title insurance claims, and real property disputes. She regularly drafted, reviewed, and negotiated a wide range of transactional and dispute-related documents, including settlement agreements, subordination agreements, deeds, and court filings. Her experience also includes analyzing title documents and advising on strategies to mitigate risk while advancing client and business objectives.

While attending The University of Alabama School of Law, Lucie served as a proud ambassador for the Crimson Tide and was an active member of the Alabama Law Review, Student Bar Association, Civil Law Clinic, Campbell Moot Court Board, Bench & Bar Honor Society, Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Moot Court Team, Alabama Athletics Compliance Department, and Dorbin’s Women Society. After graduation, Lucie relocated to Jacksonville and enjoys cheering on the Jags, traveling internationally, and shooting for bogey golf.
