LONDON, U.K. (January 22, 2026) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (“SGR”) is pleased to announce the arrival of Associate Aisha Hirani to the Firm’s London office.

Ms. Hirani joins SGR’s Litigation Practice and is a qualified Solicitor-Advocate (Civil) in England and Wales with experience handling complex insurance and financial risk matters. Prior to joining SGR, she practiced at DWF in the Global Specialty and Financial Risk team, where she advised on insurance disputes, professional indemnity matters, and sanctions.

Ms. Hirani also completed a secondment with QBE Insurance, where she handled financial lines and directors’ and officers’ claims, as well as a secondment with Canopius, focusing on heavy industry and construction claims. She trained at Clyde & Co, gaining broad experience across insurance disputes, regulatory investigations, and international trade matters. Ms. Hirani holds an MSc in Law, Business and Management from The University of Law and has Higher Rights of Audience (Civil).
