Mr. McGuire served as an attorney for Mr. Cathy and Chick-fil-A® for more than 11 years, which gave him the opportunity to work closely with the iconic founder on his business, personal, and charitable endeavors. The book, Nice, But Not Naïve, is a tribute to the impact Mr. Cathy had on Mr. McGuire and the business and life lessons he learned from their relationship.
The book honors the late Mr. Cathy and his business style. As Dan Cathy, his son and Chairman & CEO of Chick-fil-A, Inc. says, “If you’ve ever wanted a deeper look into the business sense of my dad, this is the book. Full of great stories and keen business insight, Nice, But Not Naïve will delight and inspire you.”
