U.S. News and Best Lawyers® Recognizes SGR on the 2020 “Best Law Firms” List
ATLANTA (November 1, 2019) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that the firm has again been named to the 2020 “Best Law Firms” list by U.S. News - Best Lawyers® ranked nationally and in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, D.C., including 13 “Tier 1” rankings. For the 2020 edition, SGR has been honored with recognition in several additional practice areas.
The 2020 rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and attorney evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in the field, and review of additional information provided by law firm submissions. The rankings highlight law firms both nationally and within eligible metropolitan areas across the United States. The 2020 national rankings cover 75 practice areas, and 127 practice areas are covered on the metropolitan lists.
The 2020 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and client votes received on record. Almost 16,000 lawyers provided more than 1,229,000 law firm assessments, and more than 12,000 clients participated providing 107,000 evaluations. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer recognized first in The Best Lawyers in America®, which recognizes the top five percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S. View SGR’s The Best Lawyers in America® rankings for 2020, HERE.
