Smith Gambrell Russell Welcomes Partner Aleksas Barauskas to the Jacksonville Litigation Practice

ATLANTA (June 5, 2023) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that Aleksas Barauskas has joined the Firm’s Litigation Practice as partner in the Jacksonville office. He joins SGR from Akerman LLP in Jacksonville.

Mr. Barauskas has represented business and individual clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal court for nearly 15 years. He focuses his practice on fraud, breach of contract, eviction, tortious interference, defamation, intellectual property, negligence, premises liability, and product liability. In addition, Mr. Barauskas represents financial institutions and other commercial lenders in loan enforcement actions and all areas of commercial litigation.

Mr. Barauskas received his B.A. in History & Legal Studies from Northwestern University, and his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, and Texas.
