Smith, Gambrell & Russell Represents RCP Equity in Investment in Citiri, Inc.

ATLANTA (July 30, 2020) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that the firm served as legal counsel to RCP Equity, a Venture Equity firm based in Pensacola, Florida, in its Series A investment in Citiri, Inc., a leading provider of Operational Readiness software for construction owners. The funding provided by RCP Equity will allow Citiri, Inc. to accelerate the expansion of its go-to-market team to scale up for an expected increasing number of new airport and transportation improvement projects. The new improvement projects are driven in part by the COVID-19 emergency, along with the need for greater stakeholder involvement in the commissioning and pre-commissioning process and the increasing pressure to hold down costs as construction budgets are expected to tighten.

With a focus on “Venture Equity,” RCP Equity is a privately-held investment firm that invests in businesses looking to grow long-term and are beyond needing venture capital yet too small for large private equity investors. The Citiri Inc. Series A investment was RCP Equity’s fourth investment since its founding in 2019.
