Smith, Gambrell & Russell Represents Big V Property Group in Acquisitions of Harbison Court and Promenade at Northwoods Shopping Centers in South Carolina

ATLANTA (August 16, 2019) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the firm served as legal counsel to Big V Property Group (BVPG) in two of its recent shopping center acquisitions, Harbison Court in Columbia, South Carolina and Promenade at Northwoods in Charleston, South Carolina.

Located within a super-regional shopping hub across from Columbiana Centre mall, Harbison Court is anchored by Nordstrom Rack, Ross Dress for Less and Marshalls with national discount retailers such as Petco, Tuesday Morning, Dollar Tree, and Shoe Carnival. Other national tenants include Starbucks and Outback. The 301,071-square-foot shopping center was renovated in 2014 and is adjacent to BVPG’s recently acquired 40,000-square-foot vacant in-line space which was formerly occupied by Babies R Us.

Promenade at Northwoods is a 322,428-square-foot regional shopping center located in the popular retail corridor across from the dominant Northwoods Mall. The center is anchored by Hobby Lobby, Gander Outdoors, and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. Other national and regional tenants include Boot Barn, Party City, Crunch Fitness, and Moe’s Southwest Grill.

Over the last year, SGR has advised BVPG on a variety of shopping center related matters, which include nine separate acquisitions.
