Smith, Gambrell & Russell Represents Adecco Group in Sale of OnForce to WorkMarket

ATLANTA (August 28, 2017) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the firm served as legal counsel to the Adecco Group, the world’s leading provider of workforce solutions, in the sale of its subsidiary, OnForce, to WorkMarket, the leader in work automation software. The transaction, which closed on August 7, 2017, will also establish a strategic partnership between the Adecco Group and WorkMarket which gives the company access to WorkMarket’s work automation platform.

A pioneer in tech services platforms, OnForce was the first company to build a freelancer management system for the IT field services ecosystem. In addition to forming the largest marketplace of premier IT service technicians in the industry, the acquisition allows WorkMarket to augment its state-of-the-art automation platform with an unmatched repository of market data aimed at helping its customers make smarter decisions around staffing, pricing, coverage and more.

The SGR Atlanta legal team included Partners Jay Schwartz and Julie Sebastian and Associate Jonathan Hurt in the Corporate Practice, Joe Mandarino in the Tax Practice and Partner Dale Lischer in the Intellectual Property Practice.
