SGR Recognized as a 2018 Am Law 200 Firm for Fourth Year in a Row

ATLANTA (June 18, 2018) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that the firm has been recognized by The American Lawyer as a 2018 Am Law 200 firm for the fourth year in a row. SGR improved its standing on the list from 2017 which underscores the firm’s continuing growth and increase in revenue. SGR was one of nine Atlanta homegrown firms in the Am Law. 2018 marks the firm’s 125th anniversary.

Ranked by gross revenue, the Am Law 200 is a diverse group of law firms throughout the country that range in size and geographic diversity. These firms represent clients all over the world and specialize in many different practice areas.

“We are honored to have once again earned a place in the Am Law 200. 2017 was another year of strategic growth geographically which the firm plans to continue in 2018,” said Steve Forte, SGR’s chairman and managing partner.

Globally, SGR has added more than 20 attorneys across offices since announcing its ninth office location, Los Angeles, and combination with Los Angeles boutique law firm, Rodi Pollock in December 2017. In early 2017, the firm announced growth into new international markets in the U.K. and Germany and the expansion of the New York office.
