ATLANTA (September 29, 2023) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that Partner Tina Wills has been selected to Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s 40 Under Forty 2023 Illinois Attorneys to Watch. The annual list, compiled by Law Bulletin Media, recognizes the “up and comers” practicing law in Illinois. For the last several years, a young attorney from Freeborn & Peters LLP, which combined with SGR in April 2023, has been included on this distinguished list.

Tina Wills is a member of SGR’s Litigation Practice in Chicago. She focuses her practice on complex commercial lawsuits, critical motions designed to resolve cases before trial, trials, and appeals. Ms. Wills counsels clients on strategic matters at all stages of litigation, from the initiation of lawsuits through and including proceedings before state and federal appellate courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Wills earned her B.A. from Illinois Wesleyan University, cum laude, and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, magna cum laude.

In 2021, Ms. Wills was recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business in its Rising Stars in Law. She is a member of the Appellate Lawyers Association.

Since 2000, Chicago Daily Law Bulletin has been publishing its 40 Under Forty Illinois Attorneys to Watch list. More than 1,000 nominations were submitted by peer attorneys in Illinois for the 2023 list. Each year, nominations are reviewed by Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s Forty Committee with the final 40 announced during an evening reception and published in a standalone special edition.
