ATLANTA (December 10, 2018) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that attorneys Greg Kirsch, Bill Long, and Greg Smith have been recognized as Georgia Trend’s 2018 Legal Elite. The Legal Elite is a list of Georgia’s top attorneys in the state selected from 16 different practice areas, as nominated and chosen by their peers.

Mr. Kirsch is a Partner in and the Department Head of SGR’s Intellectual Property Practice. His practice encompasses the entire range of patent law, including patent procurement, strategic patent portfolio development, patent opinions, post-grant patent office proceedings, licensing, as well as patent litigation. Mr. Kirsch’s honors also include Chambers USA: Leading Business Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America®, Super Lawyers, and the IAM Patent 1000.

Mr. Long is a Partner in SGR’s Intellectual Property Practice. His practice focuses on patent and other intellectual property and technology-related disputes. Mr. Long counsels clients on a variety of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret issues, including intellectual property strategy, portfolio management, and licensing issues. His recognitions also include Chambers USA: Leading Business Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America®, and the IAM Patent 1000.

Mr. Smith is Counsel in SGR’s Construction and Government Contracts practices. His focus is in all areas of construction law, government procurement, and contract law, which consists of dispute resolution and litigation, counseling in contracting issues, counseling in government procurement, and the drafting, structuring and review of construction and other contracts. Mr. Smith has also been recognized by Super Lawyers. He is a Charter Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America and serves on the steering committee for the International Construction Division of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law.
