About Mina

Mina Zhan’s practice focuses on corporate formation and compliance, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions (including M&A, joint ventures, and buy-sell). She also leads clients through employment and HR compliance issues, customs and trade matters, and trademark portfolio management, providing practical, business-oriented counsel that aligns legal objectives with commercial goals.

Before joining Smith Gambrell & Russell, Mina’s practice focused on business dispute resolution, restrictive covenants, employment law, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) claims, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) litigation. She also has developed a strong international background by practicing corporate law and Intellectual Property (“IP”) law in China, during which she counseled international companies in business formation and compliance and brand protection matters.
