About Yash
Yash Dave focuses his practice on labor and employment law, representing employers nationwide in both high‑stakes litigation and day‑to‑day workforce management issues. He is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Florida Bar, a distinction that recognizes his substantial involvement, experience, and commitment to this area of practice. Yash regularly defends employers against claims involving employment discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour compliance, employment‑related torts, breach of contract, and unfair labor practices. Yash has extensive experience representing employers before administrative agencies, such as the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as in state and federal courts across the country.
In addition to litigation, Yash serves as a trusted advisor to employers, helping them navigate the practical and evolving challenges of managing their workforce. He counsels clients on employee discipline and terminations, internal investigations, wage and hour audits, leave and accommodation issues, union avoidance strategies, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Yash regularly drafts and updates employee handbooks and workplace policies, and advises on employment agreements, severance arrangements, restrictive covenant and non‑competition agreements, with a focus on minimizing risk and aligning legal strategy with business goals. Clients value Yash’s ability to provide clear, actionable guidance that helps prevent disputes, resolve issues efficiently, and protect the organization both day‑to‑day and in litigation. Yash currently serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group.
