Vanessa Verde

Vanessa Verde focuses on transactional real estate and cooperative and condominium law. She advises clients on a wide range of matters, including the representation of purchasers and sellers in residential real estate transactions from contract to closing and title review. Vanessa handles cooperative and condominium general counsel and transfer agent representation as well as amendments to governing documents. She also assists cooperative and condominium clients with refinancing their underlying mortgages and matters related to cooperative annual shareholder meetings.

Prior to joining Smith Gambrell & Russell, Vanessa gained experience at several New York real estate law firms. She earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she was active in the Real Estate Society, and her B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Geneseo.
