About Elena
As an attorney with a strong writing background, Elena Sucharetza focuses her practice primarily on commercial litigation and antitrust matters, where she applies her analytical skills and attention to detail to complex business disputes and competition-related cases.
During law school summers, Elena first served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Thomas M. Durkin of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and was then a Summer Associate at SGR, where she worked on a variety of commercial litigation matters.
Outside of work, Elena plays violin in the Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra, an ensemble of musicians from the legal profession, as well as the Northwestern Medical Orchestra, a philharmonic orchestra open to university alumni.

- Assisted in filing an amicus brief in a significant antitrust case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
- Part of defense team representing chicken broiler producer in federal antitrust case brought against entire U.S. chicken broiler producer industry alleging supply reduction, market manipulation, and bid-rigging conspiracies in the broiler chicken market under both state and federal laws.
