About Jenifer

Jenifer Minsky is an experienced construction lawyer who represents contractors, architects, engineers, and other key project stakeholders on public and private construction and infrastructure projects. With nearly three decades of experience, her work spans numerous large‑scale projects such as transportation systems, public facilities, utilities, and other complex commercial structures.

Jenifer has particular experience in analyzing multi‑million and billion‑dollar construction contracts and guiding clients through compliance, contract notices, and risk‑management procedures. In addition, Jenifer’s practice includes a significant emphasis on litigation research and writing, where she develops comprehensive legal analyses and advocacy materials for complex construction disputes.

Before joining Smith Gambrell & Russell, Jenifer served as Special Counsel and Project Notice Program Manager at Peckar & Abramson, P.C., and previously was an Associate Principal at Zetlin & De Chiara LLP. She began her career at the New York City Law Department, ultimately serving as Deputy Assistant Borough Chief in the Tort Division.
