Erin P. McCallum is an Associate in the Corporate Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Ms. McCallum represents domestic and international clients in a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border commercial transactions and general corporate representation. Her experience includes serving as external corporate counsel to clients ranging from local startups to global conglomerates across several industries, such as technology, transportation, manufacturing and professional services. In particular, Ms. McCallum has developed a niche practice in advising clients on regulatory, technology and other emerging issues relating to unmanned aircraft systems (i.e. drones).
Ms. McCallum received her A.B.J. in public relations, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia. She continued her education at the University of Georgia where she earned her J.D. from the School of Law, cum laude. During law school, Ms. McCallum served as a Notes Editor for the Georgia Law Review, completed a corporate counsel externship with Equifax and volunteered her time and legal services to local entrepreneurs.
Ms. McCallum is licensed to practice law with the State Bar of Georgia.
Outside of the office, Ms. McCallum is involved with many community and business organizations, including the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Ellevate Women’s Network, and the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. Ms. McCallum is also involved with the Atlanta tennis community as a member of both ALTA and USTA.
