About Linus
Linus Liu focuses his practice on transactional matters, advising clients on the legal and business complexities of transactions involving technology, financial services and cross-border components. His experience ranges from finance and leasing, primarily within the aviation sector, mergers and acquisitions, private fund formation, corporate governance and commercial agreements. Linus’s background in cybersecurity and investment banking informs his approach to diligence, risk allocation and deal structuring, enabling him to address not only the legal frameworks but also the operational and financial realities clients face.
Prior to joining SGR, Linus gained experience across multiple industries and disciplines, ranging from cybersecurity to investment banking. Linus has also provided pro-bono representation in New York, complementing his transactional practice with client-counseling experience.
During law school, Linus served as the Executive Business Editor on the Fordham Law Review, the VIS East Editor for the Fordham Dispute Resolution Society, where he also competed in in the VIS East Moot, and the Associate Mentor Editor for the Fordham Law Moot Court. He also served as the President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
