Austin counsels clients on all phases of construction projects, from contract drafting and negotiation to pre‑suit dispute resolution and litigation. His experience spans mechanic’s liens, delay claims, surety bond claims, change orders, property damage, defaults, terminations, and other construction‑related disputes.

Austin’s practice also includes construction defect litigation, property damage claims, subrogation, premises liability, and contractual indemnification. He manages cases from intake through pre‑trial, handling discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and oral arguments. He has defended real estate sponsors in high‑stakes construction defect actions and secured significant recoveries for clients in arbitration. Austin provides strategic, results‑driven litigation support and helps clients navigate complex disputes with a practical, solutions‑oriented approach.

He works closely with clients on a daily basis, including property owners and neighbouring stakeholders in New York City, ensuring the safety and protection of real property affected by construction and development.

During law school, he served as a Staff Editor for the New York Law School Law Review and competed on the Dispute Resolution Team, where he was a finalist in the International Chamber of Commerce mediation competition.
