About Emmanuel
Emmanuel Peace represents investors, developers, lenders, landlords, and tenants in commercial real estate transactions. He advises on financing, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions across office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties, often serving as the primary point of contact from due diligence through closing. With an emphasis on responsiveness and risk management, Emmanuel manages sophisticated multijurisdictional transactions and helps clients efficiently resolve issues to keep deals moving forward.
Before joining Smith, Gambrell & Russell, Emmanuel practiced at a large international law firm and a Chicago-based mid-sized firm, where he gained substantive, client-facing experience on complex transactions. That foundation allows him to communicate clearly with stakeholders at every level and anticipate the commercial and operational concerns that shape deal terms.
Emmanuel earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and the recipient of the Weldon B. White Prize, and his B.A., with honors, from the University of Michigan.
