About Emily

Emily Yan draws on her interdisciplinary background in biomedical innovation, engineering, and technology commercialization to support patent prosecution and strategy across life sciences and medical device industries. She earned her B.S. degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Biomedical Innovation and Development, both from Georgia Tech.  Her degrees complement her hands-on experience guiding biotechnology startups through FDA regulatory pathways and early-stage commercialization. Emily has experience managing partnerships with major healthcare and government organizations and oversaw deliveries across complex research and product development initiatives.

With her combined technical expertise and practical understanding of the innovation lifecycle—from concept and regulation to commercialization, Emily provides valuable support to attorneys and clients navigating the complex landscape of patent law.
