About Samantha

Before joining Smith Gambrell & Russell, Samantha Caldwell was a Summer Associate with the firm in 2024 and also interned with Delta Air Lines’ legal department, where she supported corporate and regulatory matters involving large-scale operations. During law school, she gained practical litigation experience through externships with the Federal Defender Program’s Capital Habeas Unit and the Western Circuit Public Defender’s Office, and as a Judicial Intern for Judge Eric Norris in the Athens-Clarke County Superior Court. These roles strengthened her advocacy skills and familiarity with complex procedural matters that inform her work in construction litigation.

Samantha earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as Notes Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. She received her B.B.A. in Marketing, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
