Attorneys Howard Turner and Tim Elder were featured in the Daily Report on December 21, 2006, in a news article entitled “Smith Gambrell Joins Airline Buyout Game.” SGR’s involvement in AirTran’s proposed acquisition of Midwest Air was highlighted.


On December 6, 2006, the Daily Report reported on Environmental attorney Steve O’Day, who won the 2006 James S. Dockery Jr. Southern Environmental Leadership Award from the Southern Environmental Law Center.


On November 29, 2006, the Daily Report reported on Products Liability attorney Tim Bumann’s joining SGR as a partner.
