About James

James R. McCachren, III practices general civil litigation including complex commercial and business litigation and litigation involving real property, intellectual property, and trust and estate matters.

In addition to representing clients in a broad range of contract and business disputes, James has experience in real property litigation, including lease disputes, purchase and sale disputes, and a wide array of title and boundary disputes. James also has experience litigating trademark and copyright infringement disputes, licensing agreement disputes, trademark opposition litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, as well as takedown claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. His practice also encompasses fiduciary litigation, including disputes involving estates and trusts, and advising fiduciaries to ensure compliance with their legal obligations.

During law school at the University of Florida, James was the Management Editor of the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy and the Student Articles Editor of the Florida Journal of International Law.
