Mr. Yamazaki joined SGR in August 2022 after graduating with his L.L.M. from Duke University, however he has been practicing law since 2013. He came to the U.S. after working for TMI Associates where he practiced in Tokyo, Japan and has since become an integral part of the SGR Japan Practice Team. From his work in Japan, Mr. Yamazaki has experience with corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, both domestic and cross-border, as well as labor law matters, including labor tribunals and employment-related litigation. He has also advised Japanese companies on their expansion into the U.S., including consulting on U.S. employment law, and has supported foreign companies in their entry into the Japanese market.
