The loan covers 7 of the clients largest shopping center properties located across key markets in the United States, including Alamo Ranch in San Antonio, Texas (approximately 900,000 square feet), The Avenue at Murfreesboro in Murfreesboro, Tennessee (approximately 852,937 square feet), Glade Parks in Euless, Texas (approximately 559,457 square feet), Glynn Isles in Brunswick, Georgia (approximately 193,039 square feet), The Rim in San Antonio, Texas (approximately 1,229,470 square feet), Southpark Meadows in Austin, Texas (approximately 938,103 square feet), and Westside Centre in Huntsville, Alabama (approximately 465,865 square feet). Each center boasts nationally recognized retailers with strong credit and long-term leases in place. Located in high-traffic areas, the centers are major shopping hubs for residents and visitors, with nearly 64.9 million total visits annually. All of these shopping centers are comprised of tenants such as Target, Lowe’s, Dave & Buster’s, Best Buy, Dick’s, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls, Michael’s, Ulta, PetSmart and Barnes & Noble. This loan supports Big V Core Property Fund’s current operations and continued expansion.
Smith Gambrell has advised Big V on a variety of shopping center related matters for the past several years, including the acquisition of each of the shopping centers that have been financed in this transaction.
