Smith, Gambrell & Russell Welcomes Attorney Collins Brown to Firm’s Atlanta Tax and Trusts and Estates Practices

ATLANTA (January 15, 2020) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the addition of W. Collins Brown to the firm’s Atlanta office. Mr. Brown is a partner in SGR’s Tax Practice with a focus in wealth and estate planning for businesses and individuals. He joins SGR from the Atlanta office of James-Bates-Brannan-Groover-LLP.

As a member of SGR’s Private Wealth Services, Collins Brown works primarily with business owners, executives, and families to help them accomplish their goals and objectives with respect to their most important assets. His experience includes the design and implementation of sophisticated wealth transfer tax and estate plans as well as drafting complex trust agreements, buy-sell agreements, and operating agreements. Mr. Brown also advises clients with respect to business succession planning and asset protection planning. Additionally, he works with closely held businesses on general corporate matters ranging from entity formation and selection to mergers and acquisitions and commercial contract negotiation and preparation.
