Jerry Liu

Jerry Liu advises and assists on patent prosecution matters, drawing on a distinctive blend of law firm leadership, including his experience as a partner at a national IP boutique, and in‑house roles at ARRIS (now CommScope) and AT&T, where he served as Director of Innovation and Patent Development. He brings extensive experience in patent procurement, litigation, and transactional matters, as well as deep experience from the business level as a patent developer and asset manager. In addition to his legal practice, Jerry has taught more than 40 courses at the Georgia Institute of Technology since 2002 as a part‑time and now full‑time Lecturer. Jerry is also a five‑time high‑technology startup entrepreneur, and is a named inventor on more than two dozen U.S. patents, offering clients practical clarity and strategic insight in protecting and leveraging their intellectual property.
