Ian M. Jones is an Associate in the Labor and Employment and Litigation Practices in the Jacksonville office of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
As a member of the Litigation and Labor and Employment practice groups, Mr. Jones assists clients in a wide range labor and employment law, and represents employers in claims regarding employment discrimination, wage and hour, employment contracts, and unfair labor practices Mr. Jones also assists clients in drafting employee handbooks and policy manuals, employment contracts, severance agreements, and non-competition agreements.
Mr. Jones received his B.A. in History with a minor in Religious Studies from Franklin and Marshall College in 2011. He went on to earn his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2015. While at Chicago-Kent, Mr. Jones was a member of the Labor and Employment Certificate Program and Labor and Employment Law Society, where he served on the Executive Board. Mr. Jones also had the opportunity to serve as a Judicial Extern for Magistrate Judge Susan E. Cox.
Mr. Jones is admitted to practice in Illinois and Florida. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, Southern Districts of Illinois as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, Northern Districts of Florida and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Wisconsin.
