Lori A. Gelchion is a Partner in the Corporate Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Lori Gelchion’s practice is concentrated in securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Ms. Gelchion’s experience in securities matters includes the representation of issuers in initial and follow-on offerings, “shelf” offerings, private placement transactions, exchange and tender offers, subscription rights offerings, and SEC reporting and disclosure requirements. She also represents public and private companies as both buyers and sellers in merger, acquisition and disposition transactions as well as in general corporate matters.
Ms. Gelchion is recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in the specialties of Securities/Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Law. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Business & Finance Section of the Atlanta Bar Association.
Ms. Gelchion received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, where she was in the Echols Scholar Honors Program. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was Articles Editor and Member Editorial Board for the Georgia Law Review. Ms. Gelchion also holds an M.B.A, with Concentration in Corporate Finance and Accounting from the University of Georgia.
