Mr. Holland is an experienced counsel and legal executive who has served for over 25 years as general counsel and CLO to two global companies. He has led a wide manner of corporate and advisory matters and is specially suited to understand the business realities of legal matters and fiscal imperatives of those who must decide them. Mr. Holland’s experience includes mergers and acquisitions, commercial and class action litigation, executive compensation, employment disputes, restrictive covenant and trade secrets matters, corporate investigations and board advisory.
For over a decade, Mr. Holland was general counsel to Adecco Group North America, the $5 billion unit of Zurich based Adecco Group, the world’s leading recruiting and human capital firm. Before that, he was CLO to MPS Group (MPS:NYSE), a publicly traded provider of specialty IT and professional recruiting and outsourcing services. In both these roles, he also served as corporate secretary and chief compliance officer. Mr. Holland additionally served stints as head of the human resources and real estate functions. Mr. Holland began his practice as an associate attorney at two leading Southeastern U.S. law firms.
Mr. Holland’s experience also includes negotiating executive agreements and departures, incentive and bonus arrangements, designing and implementing internal controls, customer and vendor contract negotiations, and lease review and negotiations. He has led the purchase and sale of public and private companies, including carve outs and divestitures, and managed a programmatic M&A function to augment organic growth. He has negotiated software development and licensing agreements, outsourcing and offshoring arrangements, and led the formation of digital offerings and business units.
He has served as a board member and advisory committee member of several joint venture and early stage growth companies. Mr. Holland served for seven years on the board of the American Staffing Association. He was selected by the Florida Supreme Court to serve on a special committee studying technology in the courts.
Mr. Holland is a past president and board member of the Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville, Inc. He received his B.S.B.A in business administration from the University of Arkansas in 1988 and his J.D, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1992, where he was comments editor on the Stetson Law Review. He attended the senior leadership program at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France in 2016.

- $612 million divestiture of medical staffing and solutions subsidiary to private equity firm.
- $400 million acquisition of global outplacement and consulting company from private equity firm.
- $325 million sale of digital platform business and resultant joint venture with private equity firm.
- Carve out of legal solutions business unit and sale of assets to strategic competitor.
- $30 million acquisition of accounting and finance workforce solutions company from major bank’s workout group.
- $20 million acquisition of privately held medical staffing and solutions company from founder.
- Acquisition of the assets of digital workforce platform Hired, Inc. through the assignment for the benefit of creditors process in California.
- Formation of first to market vendor management service Beeline (“VMS) and managed service provider Pontoon Solutions (“MSP”) offerings in the human capital industry.
- Led defense of major trade secrets litigation with a global strategic competitor resulting in settlement.
- Led defense of wage and hour class and collective actions asserting claims covering over 100,000 putative members for alleged unpaid wages and overtime, rest and meal breaks and associated penalties.
- Negotiation of NFL stadium licensing arrangements and luxury suite rentals and sponsorship agreements with professional athletes.
- Drafting and negotiation of executive employment agreements, compensation and incentive arrangements, severance agreements, domestically and internationally, including an executive agreement for a direct report to the CEO of Apple, Inc.
