SuperGrow plants 6,500 trees in Dallas for Super Bowl

In preparation for Super Bowl XLV on February 6, participants in the Super Grow XLV program have planted more than 6,500 trees in Dallas-area cities.

The effort is an attempt to minimize the Super Bowl’s impact on the local environment. NFL environmental director Jack Groh said North Texas’s environmental initiatives, coordinated by Texas Trees Foundation, have been the largest in the history of the Super Bowl.
