ATLANTA (September 1, 2020) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce the firm served as legal counsel to Big V Property Group in its recent acquisition of The Avenue® Murfreesboro, an outdoor shopping center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The transaction, which closed August 31, 2020, is its largest deal to date. CLMG CORP, as Agent for, BEAL BANK USA, financed the transaction.
Located less than 30 minutes from downtown Nashville, The Avenue Murfreesboro is an outdoor, regional lifestyle shopping center with a mix of specialty shops, local boutiques, big box retailers, and unique restaurants. Among the shopping center’s 85 national retailers are Best Buy, Bath & Body Works, Belk, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Victoria’s Secret, H&M, and ULTA, as well as Barnes & Noble, Chili’s, and Bed Bath & Beyond.
SGR has advised Big V Property Group on a variety of shopping center related matters, including more than 16 acquisitions.
