Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) announced today that Lisa A. Smith has joined the firm’s real estate practice, and Dana L. Mark has joined the firm’s private client services practice.

Smith’s clients include cooperative and condominium buildings on an ongoing basis in connection with their general corporate and condominium association matters, including those relating to tenant stockholders and unit owners, board members, managing agents and contractors. She has represented numerous developers and sponsors of cooperative and condominium offering plans for major development projects throughout New York City. Smith received her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University and her bachelor’s degree from Colgate University.
Mark focuses her practice on tax, estate and trust planning, charitable giving, and tax-exempt organizations. She has extensive experience involving sophisticated tax planning, the probate and administration of estates and trusts, qualified retirement plan assets and IRAs, and the preparation of pre- and post-nuptial agreements. Mark is a member of the board of directors of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, serves on its executive committee, and heads the governance committee. She received her Master of Laws in taxation and Bachelor of Arts degrees from New York University and her Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center.
