Smith Gambrell Russell Los Angeles Partner Linda Koffman Elected to Board of Regents for the American College of Mortgage Attorneys

ATLANTA (October 5, 2023) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that Partner Linda Koffman, a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice in Los Angeles, CA, has been elected to the Board of Regents of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA), an academic college comprised of more than 500 attorneys that specialize in mortgage law and real estate finance transactions across all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Mexico and Canada. Ms. Koffman is one of 25 Regents who represent the wide geographic reach of ACMA. She was formally elected to an initial 3-year term on September 30, 2023 at ACMA’s Annual Meeting. Ms. Koffman was initially selected as a Fellow into ACMA in 2002.

Ms. Koffman concentrates her practice in structuring, documenting and closing a variety of complex real estate transactions including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and real estate secured financing for all major commercial asset types: office, retail, industrial/warehouse and large multi-family projects. She has represented private opportunity funds, pension funds, pension fund advisors, real estate owners, insurance companies, developers, institutional investors, lenders and asset management companies in transactions throughout the United States. Ms. Koffman also has significant experience with the telecommunications industry having negotiated numerous cell site leasing transactions.
