ATLANTA (November 26, 2003) – The law firm of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR), one of the Southeast’s premier law firms, has recently contracted with Atlanta Magazine to produce SGR’s quarterly publication, Trust The Leaders. Trust The Leaders is an informative magazine that is sent to clients, friends and colleagues of SGR and features a variety of timely legal topics along with profiles of SGR clients and professionals.
In launching its custom publication more than two years ago, SGR was recognized for its innovativeness by the National Law Journal as being the first U.S. law firm to utilize a firm magazine as a way to offer easily accessible legal information to its clients.
SGR offers clients the resources of an outstanding group of legal professionals with expertise in more than 50 specialized areas of practice. SGR managed production of the first five issues of Trust The Leaders by supplementing its inhouse marketing team with the assistance of a design agency. As part of the just-announced collaboration, SGR professionals write and edit the content while Atlanta Magazine designs, produces and ships each issue. The C.J. Krehbiel Company will print the publication quarterly, with subsequent distribution to thousands of recipients in the U.S. and abroad.
In addition to SGR’s Trust The Leaders, the Atlanta Magazine Custom Publishing division has also produced the Georgia On My Mind Travel Guide, the Lenox Square–Legendary Shopping Then, Now and Always promotional supplement, Mall of Georgia’s Traditions publications and OCULUS Cosmetic Surgeons’ Eye Q, along with many more publications produced for both businesses and nonprofit organizations in the Atlanta area. Since 1988, the publication has won more than 195 awards for journalistic excellence — more than 75 of them national honors. It is also one of six magazines owned by Indianapolis based Emmis Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: EMMS), a diversified media firm with award winning radio broadcasting, television broadcasting and magazine publishing operations.
