Three Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) attorneys were honored in the inaugural edition of Georgia Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite Survey. Two of the firm’s wide-ranging practice areas are represented.

SGR attorneys featured within this influential group are Dale Lischer, Intellectual Property Law; Rodgers Lunsford, Intellectual Property Law; and James “Harry” Morgan, Estate and Tax Planning.

According to Georgia Trend, the selection process worked as follows: “To compile the list of the legal elite, Georgia Trend mailed ballots last summer to several thousand Georgia lawyers and asked them to choose the most effective attorneys in Georgia in 10 separate practice areas. Respondents were not allowed to vote for themselves; they could vote for individuals in their own law firm, as long as they voted for an equal or greater number of attorneys outside their firm. Attorneys are listed in the categories in which their colleagues placed them; some are listed in more than one. Ballots were tallied by the Georgia Trend editorial staff.”
